A wedding is being celebrated. David and Sarah meet for the first time. Later, they sit together in the car and set off. However, their destination seems to be moving further away and becoming unreachable as technology throws a wrench in the works: the navigation system suddenly fails. So they have to improvise and rely on what is familiar to them. They drive through places they have visited in the past. In doing so, they realize that these places still occupy their thoughts and sometimes even offer a glimpse into the future...
