Welcome to CORSO Cinema International – Stuttgart’s Original Version Cinema
Fredrik Andersson is welcoming you!
Corso has been part of Stuttgart’s cinema culture since 1957, when it opened as a stylish basement theatre next to the historic Schiller-Theater. While our interior still reflects its mid-century charm, we’ve upgraded everything behind the scenes with modern digital sound and projection technology to give you the best possible viewing experience.
Since 1984, Corso Cinema International has specialized in screening films in their original English version—without subtitles. This commitment has earned us a reputation as Stuttgart’s only true “dubbing-free zone.” Occasionally, we host special event screenings in other languages, always with English subtitles, for those seeking something a little different.
Over the years, stars like P!nk, Alice Cooper, and other celebrities have either rented private screenings or attended regular showings with their families, making Corso a unique cultural hub in Stuttgart.
As an independent cinema, we can only continue to thrive thanks to the support of our loyal visitors and regulars. Your attendance helps us keep the spirit of original cinema alive in Stuttgart.
Today, our independent cinema features two screens with large, comfortable seating and a carefully curated program for film lovers. We offer discounts every Tuesday, and year-round for pupils, students, seniors, military, and the unemployed with valid ID. Private screenings are available on request—perfect for birthdays, school events, or even wedding proposals.
We look forward to welcoming you at Corso—Stuttgart’s home for original version cinema for over 40 years.
