RATING LAW
As you might know, the American PG is the FSK in Germany. However, if a movie is rated PG-13 or rated R in the US, it doesn't mean the situation here in Germany is the same. Here is an explanation of the German Jugendschutzgesetz (child protection law):
1) If you want to see a movie that is rated FSK 6 (Anger Management), no children under 6 years are allowed to watch the movie, not even with their parents.
2) If you want to see a movie that is rated FSK 12, children of the ages 6 to 12 are also allowed to watch the movie if in the company of their legal guardians.
3) If you want to see a movie that is rated FSK 16 / FSK 18, no one under the age of 16/18 is allowed to watch the movie, not even in the company of their legal guardians.
We are sorry, but we can not make any exceptions. If you have any further questions, please ask our staff or visit www.fsk.de
